SIGNATURE DISH - LECHONERA DMV

For this Puerto Rican pig roast episode, I documented the complete roasting process at LECHONERA DMV's outdoor setup. Operating a Sony FX9 in challenging cold conditions with heavy smoke from the roasting pit, I captured the traditional cooking methods and vibrant atmosphere. I shot interviews and extensive b-roll both inside the cramped food truck and throughout the outdoor eating area, crafting establishing shots of the surrounding environment. The dual challenges of working in cold weather and navigating dense smoke required constant adaptation while maintaining visual quality. The coverage showcased the authentic Puerto Rican lechón experience, from preparation to final serving, delivering compelling content that highlighted this unique DMV food truck's traditional approach.
