THE DISINFO DIALOGUE
For this expert-led roundtable on disinformation featuring host Bridget Todd and prominent women-of-color thought leaders, I served dual roles as both PTZ camera operator and production lead. Operating a complex four-camera setup (three Sony FR7 cinema PTZs and a Sony FX9 on an automated Dana Dolly) in a compact blackout studio environment, I crafted deliberate framing solutions that delivered clean solo and two-shots despite spatial constraints. As production lead, I coordinated a five-person crew including our lighting designer/DP, audio engineer, hair/makeup artist, and interns while serving as the primary client liaison. My approach balanced technical precision with production management, enabling smooth transitions between carefully composed shots that maintained visual interest throughout substantive discussions on disinformation's impact on marginalized communities. The production design prioritized elegant simplicity with predetermined dolly movements programmed for strategic conversation moments. My ability to simultaneously manage multiple cameras while overseeing broader production elements resulted in a polished final product that successfully translated complex subject matter into visually engaging content.
