THE HARD LANDING BAND- PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHT

Working solo with a Sony FX3 and Sigma Art 24-70mm, I captured this dynamic live performance using deliberate handheld cinematography to preserve the band's raw energy. Navigating through the audience, I documented all five performers as the visual journey transitioned from natural daylight into atmospheric stage lighting. In post, I created the illusion of multi-camera coverage by weaving together footage from different moments, ensuring each member received spotlight time. The resulting piece serves as both a promotional tool for venue bookings and a way for the musicians to experience their performance from the audience perspective. The band's enthusiastic reaction and immediate sharing with friends and family confirmed the video successfully captured their musical essence and stage personalities.
